When Covid began 3 years ago, people were in a panic, for one reason or another. If you believed the hype, maybe it was the moment you suddenly realized, “I won’t live forever!” If you saw through the hype, you probably thought, “I can’t assume that my freedoms will stand forever!” Either way, you experienced a rude awakening on how ephemeral man’s health or the protection of his rights really are.
So what did you do? You probably fell in one of two camps, participating in some degree. If you were in the “Terrified of Covid” camp, you found refuge in hard solutions that would allegedly protect you from the deadly virus. You wore a mask, took an experimental treatment, and maybe even entertained the idea that you could hide from Covid, perhaps forever. Well, maybe not forever, but for as long as some authority told you to take such extreme measures as staying in your home and avoiding human contact..
If you didn’t believe the hype, in addition to protesting masks and other government overreach, you too looked for consolation in hard solutions. But your solutions were more authentically solid and eternal than your misguided Covid fearing friend. Perhaps you went to mass more often, spent more time with family, and took up essential skill developing hobbies that have stood the test of time; reading, gardening, building, homeschooling, chicken keeping, etc…
Since Covid, I have grown close to a tightly knit Catholic community that has become more connected, more prayerful, and more supportive of one another. My family is still experiencing the awesome effect of more deeply joining the kind of community that already knew that this world is not eternal.
But are we all as connected, strong, and as resolved now as we were three years ago? How about two years ago? Look around you at this time. The narrative of: “The world went crazy for awhile during Covid, but now it’s all back to normal.” is a false narrative. We are instead in an era of what the Hegelians or the Marxists would call “normalization” (which is not normal at all!). Unfortunately, we are all lulling back to some of the complacency we had before Covid. I know I am.
We are falling again for that which is ephemeral. How do we spot this new complacency in us, and how do we stop ourselves from reversion?
“Normalization”
What is “normalization?” The media clued us sleep walkers in on this notion back when they saturated us with the expression, “new normal”. We of course, knew that perpetual masking, asking the government if we could go outside to play, and endless experimental drugs on a mandated routine was anything but “normal.”
In his famous 1984 interview, KGB defector, Yuri Bezmonov, spoke of the four stages used to collapse a society from the inside. While these stages were indeed used by the Soviets to subvert and convert nations into communist client states, they can be used by anyone with sufficient power to subvert a society and cause structural turnover. It’s important to understand this weaponized social Hegelianism when reflecting upon where exactly you and your fellow citizens are in your day and age.
The first stage, according to Bezmonov, is 1. “Demoralization”. Demoralization is the stage whereby a civilization is deliberately made weaker, dumber, and immoral. This would make sense, considering that such hapless people have a historically poor track record when defending themselves. Bezmonov said that the goal is “ideological subversion”, and that the agenda is to:
Change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that
despite of the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible
conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their
community, and their country.
Since day 1 of the Pax Americana, it’s fair to say that America has been in an ever deepening and demoralizing stupor. Corporate media, junk food, pornography, binge drinking, weed, pop music, and professional sports have (poorly) filled voids in us since, at least, the 60’s. The kinds of voids that things like God, literature, music, art, philosophy, exercise, and proper stewardship over nature should fill.
As we look back at the contraception, “free love”, hippies, feminism, abortion, MTV, Super Double Stuffed Oreos, beer ads with sex appeal, beer ads with tran-sexual appeal, Human Centipede and Saw movies, etc… it’s safe to say that the demoralization phase of America has been complete.
The next stage is 2. “Destabilization”. Here the goal is to collapse various structures within the society, now that those within it are too lapsed to resist. As Bezmonov said:
This time subverter does not care about your ideas and the patterns of your
consumption, whether you eat junk food and get fat and flabby, it doesn’t
matter anymore… what matters is essentials: economy, foreign relations,
and defense systems.
There have been various times over the last 70 years where America has been hit by concentrated surges of destabilization. Having said that, sans a few year reprieve with a recent Republican president, we have been living through an aggressive destabilization phase since 9/11. The World Trade Center buildings were destroyed, America went on the fools errand of a 20 year war against something that can never sign a treaty (terrorism), the national debt went from 58% of the nation’s annual GDP to now 120% of the annual GDP, bank bailouts, 8 years of Saul Alinsky Jr. as president, and currently part II of that presidency (now with senility and more globalism!).
Having been sufficiently demoralized and destabilized, this nation was ready for stage 3. “Crisis”. This is the Hegelian “inflection point” required to finally make the desired change that subverters were setting up. When a significant “crisis” happens, the population now begs someone to make it go away and bring stability back! Of course, the population is now too porned out, obese, social media addicted, and sports distrated, to do anything about it themselves. So some other entity is instead begged by the people to fix it for them.
Classically, this is where some tyrannical “strong man” comes in and “saves the day”, i.e. stops the crisis at the price of men’s freedom. He takes all the power and changes the entire political dynamic in his favor in the process. Except when our crisis came (Covid), we didn’t get a Napoleon type, but rather we got guys like Anthony Faucii, Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, the IMF, and the same Pfizer that sponsored a Satanic music award presentation.
Finally, it’s time for the last stage; 4. “Normalization”. This is the period whereby the subverted people are introduced to a new form of government, a new set of (im)moral norms, a new economy, lower election standards, and critical theory narratives to help everyone somehow feel less oppressed than before the normalization. “Sorry, but it’s for everyone’s good that we get used to these new standards. Society will need them now to keep a new Covid under control, from climate change blowing up the planet, or from the Domestic Violent Extremists staging a new insurrection.”
This is where we are now. If you are sliding back into old “patterns of consumption”, it’s because we have been programmed to find comfort in these ephemeral and subversive things; light beer, sports events with “pride nights”, pornography, video games, and the rest. Once we feel too powerless to fight back, we are trained to seek escapism in these old habits.
As Bezmonov said in his interview, the normalization phase “may last indefinitely”, and none of these stages necessarily terminates once a subsequent stage is implemented. While the current normalization is being installed, those who have invested in our demise need us as incapacitated, distracted, and as “fat and flabby” as we were before Covid. Those who understand the “normalization” that is going on must not interfere with it’s installation.
We are not supposed to find moderation at this time. We are supposed to retreat back into excess and circus and to believe that we are too weak to give it up.
Drag Queen Nun Shows
Well of course there are drag queen nun shows at Major League Baseball games. It’s the logical conclusion to worsening pride months and pride nights, gone unchecked, for years. America just can’t say no to professional sports. Eventually, the envelope gets pushed this far.
“But this doesn’t even have anything to do with gay rights!”, someone predictably opines. Newsflash, none of the LGBTQIA2+ movement has anything to do with gay rights. What does recently added “2 Spirit” have to do with decriminalizing sodomy or “expanding marriage rights for all”? Furthermore, how “marginalized” is anyone identifying with this vaguely Native American gender confusion concept? What’s actually going on?
Notice the updated Rainbow Flag that was initially waved during the BLM riots. The one sporting the triangle with flesh tones off to the side? How has multiculturalism been linked to the rainbow movement? Recall how quickly “Black Lives Matter” became “Black Trans Lives Matter” on social media in 2020. A lot of African American men were particularly shocked as to how their cause for “police accountability” was so easily hijacked.
The LGBTQIA2+ movement is the key to collecting allied non-related affinity groups to simply fight Western Civilization itself. There is a reason Black Rock and the Open Society Foundation invest in organizing and militarizing the “alphabet people” and their “allies”; chaos yields collapse and collapse breeds opportunity. See “Brought to you by Mammon”.
Drag Queen nun shows exist because it’s an effective weapon to use against America. Bad actors can’t attack America via jet fighters and tanks, they would get destroyed. But apparently they can attack America by indecently blaspheming the consecrated women of a religion that has more American members than any other religion, and Americans are so sufficiently demoralized that they will roll over and take it. Or will they?
Grab a Mop
As the ongoing Bud Light debacle is proving, it will stop when we make it stop. When “we the people” say “ENOUGH!”
Of all things, a folksy expression from the founder of Wendy’s restaurants, Dave Thomas, is applicable here. Dave Thomas was famous for being a high school drop out who ironically credited his “MBA” for his success. Of course, one can’t earn a Masters in Business Administration if he never attained a high school diploma, so what was he talking about? He was referring to his “Mop Bucket Attitude”. The Mop Bucket Attitude is the firm disposition to humbly roll up your sleeves, work hard, and clean up a mess, even when no one else is willing to.
Maybe that kind of humility and determination is what America needs right now. Of course we aren’t the one’s directly responsible for pride nights, ESG scores, drag queen nun shows, and the rest, but why can’t we have the attitude that we should roll up our sleeves and humbly begin cleaning it up?
At a certain point, Covid was stopped by people with “Mop Bucket Attitutdes” who said, “This gets pushed no further!!” News flash, bullies who hit you with with your own hand and say “Stop hitting yourself!” will not stop until you punch them back! And when you do, that moment of courage and heroic risk pays HIGH dividends in relieving you from injustice.
When the Canadian truckers stood up to Justin Trudeau, they embodied this sort of attitude. They took it upon themselves to do a thankless and dirty job that proved invaluable. They didn’t say, “Well, we can’t do anything about mandates. Let’s just give in and turn on some hockey." Instead, they forced Justin Tredeau to make an ass of himself in Parliament. How sweet it was.
Considering this, what will bring you more joy? Grown men playing a game with a ball while you sheepishly explain the “pride night” thing to your kids, or forcing the LA Dodgers executives to squirm, stammer, and eventually lose their jobs over their blasphemy against the holy consecrated virgins of your religion!? That religion of which you proudly boast, “Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus!”.
True, we could have stopped this long ago by giving up the circus and declaring “Enough!” back when the pride nights started, but it’s better late than never. Whatever sports leagues promote this subversive agenda, as long as they treat their own product like dirt, let’s roll up our sleeves, get out a mop, and take it upon ourselves to finally clean this up! The way to clean them up is to give them up. Start today.
Worthy Investments
It’s a bit scary when you know what the social engineers are up to. An easy fear to succumb to is the fear of what you are going to lose as their agenda advances. And considering we are body-soul composites, of course we are concerned about our jeopardized pysical assets, what with the activities of the WEF, inflation, bozo politicians, and the vampire plutocrats they serve etc…
It has finally got to the point where many of our friends and family, if they aren’t struggling financially, are struggling to find any free time. This typically happens in a socialist transitioning society that is stubbornly “stalling” a recession: the people who pull their weight reflexively pull harder. This is increasingly evident when you interact with friends at social gatherings. Everyone talks about how exhausted they are, how the market keeps getting worse, and many have picked up a second job or “side-hustle”.
It’s tough making decisions on how to invest during times like these. How much time should be invested in a side hustle to keep the same economic standard that we had before Covid? Is it the time to invest in real-estate, perhaps in a state with a longer politically conservative shelf life? Is it time to invest further into making and producing one’s own food, even if hay prices keep soaring and one has no experience farming? What are we supposed to invest in right now?
But again, we are body-soul composites. While we must make wise investments for our material needs, we must also make investments in immaterial things as humans. It's our nature. In addition to material investments, we are constantly making investments in long lasting things that don’t have anything to do with material assets or money. When you read a book, you are investing time into your education. Pray a rosary, and you are making a spiritual deposit. Give your kids some quantity time (quality time, eat your heart out!), and you are making an investment that pays dividends when they demonstrate more respect towards you and greater eagerness to mind the 4th commandment. Weird, huh?
When people who don’t value your material or immaterial assets keep attacking your posessions and your ephemeral desires, it’s a good time to invest in the things that are more eternal and less ephemeral.
When I think about what I have gotten away from over the last year, and what I need to better invest in, I keep landing on three things; my faith, my family, and my friends. My faith is eternal, and the souls of my family and friends are too.
If you have lapsed from the family rosary, revive that practice. If you have neglected time with family and friends, get back to them. I determined that social engineers had robbed me of professional sports three years ago (I should have walked away sooner). That’s okay, let the social engineers have something so ephemeral and frivolous. It was a poor investment of my time anyway. I have the best family and the best friends in the world. I would rather invest my time and energy in such great people. If you are reading this article, I thank you deeply for your friendship and hope to see you at a function that builds authentic Catholic culture again soon. I hope to find myself praying shoulder to shoulder with you again outside of an abortion mill or discussing a good book or encyclical in short time. I truly treasure the bonds we have made over the last three years!!
You are living during a takeover. This is the “normalization” phase. But you can choose against the “normalization” that has been planned for you. If the “new normal” includes the perversion of some ephemeral things, many of which have been subversive to begin with, then so be it. But why squander this opportunity, to instead invest in that which is more eternal?
It’s a wonderful time to get back to your Covid-era resolutions. It’s a great time to re-invest in the things that cannot be taken away from you and that are truly fulfilling. Don’t waste it.
