Is there really an Abortionist running for State Senator in Arizona? As a Republican? Yes, yes there is. “Dr.” Sherrylynn Young is running for State Senate in Legislative District 10 (Pima County) in the Republican primary. She was recently called out as a former abortionist in a Legislative District meeting by a group of dedicated and concerned grassroots Republicans. I guess hard-working ordianry Americans can move the needle after all.
One of these salt of the earth citizens was sharp enough to get video footage, which can be seen
here.
The smoking gun dialogue from the transcript:
Young: “I did perform abortions, only up to 12 weeks, the first trimester, and I think I helped a lot of women.”
Audience member: “Do you regret it?”
Young: “No, I don’t regret it. I think I was, according to my conscience, I think I was doing the right thing.”
So for those of you who wondered, “Maybe she was a former abortionist who had a radical conversion”, you have heard it straight from the horse’s mouth. Before a junior Snopes editor hops out from behind a bush and tells you this woman was only a former abortionist, think hard on the distinction between repentant abortionist and a former abortionist with no regrets.
How can you help stop “Dr.” Young or similar RINOs from taking office? For starters, now is a good time to understand how candidates get on the ballot. Candidates require a threshold of signatures in order to get their names on the ballot. While Young has been out speaking before Republican clubs in Pima County, she has gathered signatures from many potential constituents who have not properly vetted her. Such happens quite frequently. Many are unaware that, per elected position, you can sign for only ONE candidate. So if Conservative Joe casually goes to his “Tuscan Concerned Republicans” (fictitious name) meeting and signs the petition for the fast talking candidate who just stopped by for some “coffee and chat”, he just blew his signature. As “Dr.” Young defends herself, a man is seen in the video gathering signatures that can no longer be given to a candidate who opposes her. You have to vet the candidates well and you better learn the rules before you sign. Get involved now to get ahead of the learning curve!
For Pima County residents who have not given away their signature, they can vet Young’s opposition, Justine Wadsack, and consider helping to get her name on the ballot. You can sign her petition
here. Wadsack ran unopposed in the primary in 2020, but was ultimately defeated by Democrat Kirsten Engel. According to
her profile on Ballotpedia, Wadsack is “affiliated with Purple for Parents”, which is a grassroots campaign opposed to Red for Ed.
She is quite accessible on Facebook, where she defends the pro-life Republican platform as well as her own pro-life stance. She is endorsed by Kelly Townsend. Oh yeah, and she is a Real Estate Agent, not an Abortionist. So she has that going for her.
Why have I dedicated an article on a candidate who may not even make it on the ballot, may not make it past the primary, and would probably lose to the Democrat candidate anyway even if she got that far? For two main reasons:
1. The details surrounding this debacle, and its exposition, demonstrate the power of grassroots efforts. A few ordinary citizens who took the time to research the candidates, and had the gumption to press Young on her past, raised a red flag. Who else would have raised it? And it was raised high enough even to catch the eye of Conservative idol, Tucker Carlson, in a meme now circulating nationally. Now that's impact even the most dedicated Fist Wringer must acknowledge! I hear such Fist Wringers ask all the time, “how do THEY let these RINOs into office?!”. I think these Pima Grassroots activits have given the answer; because collectively, WE don’t do enough to raise the red flags in enough Districts. Get out there and help!
2. Defeating an abortionist running for ANY position as a Republican is worth the time and effort. As Wadsack has said, “The GOP needs to wake up and stop this woman. Otherwise, where is the threshold that protects the Republican party from Pedophiles, Murderers, and others like that - running in our party, and further destroying Conservatism.” I would put it the same way Cato the Censor ended every speech before the Roman Senate; because “Carthago Delenda Est”! Carthage must be destroyed! Despite the short term fruits that may or may not come out of it, the long term results of our Culture of Death, and “can’t someone else do it” attitude have clearly reached a head. The long term cultural and moral effects of an abortionist running as a Republican are both palpable and intolerable.
Even if you do not live in Pima County, you can help stop “Dr.” Young. If you feel inclined, support Justine Wadsack either financially,
with your time, and certainly with your prayers. Wadsack has implored, “You can help spread the word through your social media and share my posts so the word gets out… I can find social media volunteer work for people in other districts.” Considering the ever growing network of Patriots on alternative platforms such as Gab, Parler, Telegram, and Signal, she may be more accurate than she realizes. Get to know this candidate and see how you can help by emailing her at JustineWadsack@gmail.com. And if you know concerned conservatives in Pima County, share the contents of the present article with them NOW!
